1) May the Condor Woolen Rollers be used with solvent-based paints?
Yes, because the wool is fixed by thermal fusion process, in other words, it isn't glued.
2) How to effortlessly paint hard-to-reach areas?
One of the solutions is to use the extension poles. Much lighter than the conventional extensions, they prevent the painter from getting tired and their universal tip allows for using all kinds of rollers.
3) Is there a recommended brush for all kinds of paint and varnish?
Yes, the 710 Mixed Paint Brush. With its composition, it provides the painting with better flatness, durability and perfect retouch.
4) Are there brushes especially recommended for varnish?
Yes, the white natural bristled brushes are ideal for this type of application. With such composition, Condor offers the 771, 701 and 777models.
5) Which kind of brush should I use when I seek a "fine finishing" job?
In this case, the brushes with special hair are ideal. Recommended for varnish, sealer and enamel, they allow for an impeccable finishing and good coverage. With such composition, Condor offers the 660 and 750 models.
6) Are there brushes that can accelerate the coverage work?
Yes. All of the double-brush models transfer a larger volume of paint to the surface, accelerating the painting. Condor offers three double-brush models: 720, 745 and 777.
7) What are the sponge rollers for?
The foam rollers are ideal for oil-based paint, enamel and varnish, diluted in turpentine. These rollers can't be used with thinner.
8) I need to do a paint job without dripping or splashing on the furniture and floor. Are there tools that help this task?
Yes. For painting you can use the Special Dripless Wool rollers. They are made of special wool that prevents paint from dripping, for flat surfaces. In order to protect the furniture and floor, use the Cover-All plastic cover, which covers areas up to 10m².
9) Does Condor have a tool designed for performing an economical and perfect paint job?
Yes. If you seek quality finishing with quick application, you must use the 2012 Microfibre roller. With special microfiber wool, it offers a perfectly finished dripless painting, with better coverage, transferring three times more paint to the surface, making the paint job faster and thriftier.
10) Is there a special roll for rough surfaces?
Yes. For this purpose you can use the Extra 950. Made of sheep wool, the 950 features fairly dense wool, 25 mm tall, and it's recommended for rough surface paint jobs, such as: rough plaster, concrete blocks, textures and more.
11) How many different finishings can be made using the Condor Texture Rollers?
Condor offers four texturizing roll options and different final results. For fine texture, use the 966 roller. For the medium textures you have two options: the 968 and 969. And the 967 is ideal for obtaining thick textures.
12) Which options does Condor offer for sanding or brushing surfaces?
For brushing, Condor offers three steel brush options (827, 828 and 829). All of them with ergonomic grip which allows easier handling, preventing from harming your fingers. The 828 brush offers a handy scrapper for removing paint and crusts easily. For sanding, you can use the sanding sponges,which contain medium and low abrasion sandpaper sheets, ideal for working on masonry, plaster, handcraft, wood, MDF and metal.
